Oh my GOSH - Clara has arrived. 4 weeks early and just perfect! She is 5 days old here. :)

This is me last week, with Kim & Eric at their baby shower. Seriously, the girl does not look like she is going to have a baby in 4 weeks - crazy, lovely. 

Well, we know how I love insulation. Here is 9 inches in the ceiling. Turns out with 10' ceilings and wood floors - everything echos! 

March 2006 - Here's the ceiling, on it's way back out. 

Feb 2006 - So I had drywall put in the downstairs living room, after ripping the ceiling out. However, I didn't consider how INCREDIBILY LOUD this house is and subsequently didn't insulate it. So, we tore the drywall back out and insulated, then put plywood up because we are going to put in tin ceiling in the entire first floor (not the rental.) This is Chuck and his son Charlie - workin'.

Feb 2006 - Who doesn't like countertops and appliances? 

The upstairs kitchen, when I bought the place - mid renovation. Wow, seriously, someone picked that wallpaper, come'on. The cabinets were in but no water or appliances. 

I know, who posts a picture of the toilet. But check it out! It's the old fashion kind with the bowl and tank separate. The things homeowners get excited about, jeesh. We also have steam heat, so the old radiators work and make wonderful towel warmers. :) 

Behind...huge surprise? I think no.

So I ran into some technical difficulties and was unable to update and found myself with no time to figure out the issue. Issue resolved for the moment. :)
